Course Refund Policy

Training Policies

Inclusive of all in person and online training courses and packages.

Before registering for any training you agree to read and agree to all of the policies before registering. Enrolment and registration demonstrates you are in agreement with the terms and conditions of the training policy as outlined below.

Refunds and change of mind policy:

Khilo beauty bar complies with Australian Consumer Law in regards to refunds.

Refunds for change of mind or accidental purchases will not be given. 

Refund requests will be considered on a case by case basis and although will not be refunded we may credit it depending on certain situations to move to another course date if available. What the educator chooses to do is their decision and cannot be argued against. 

Cancellations/Reschedules:

Online Courses are not refundable. There is no cool down period for any Online Course as the student has access to the course itself until completion of the course.

We do not refund due to "change of mind".

Cancellation of the students' in person training course outside the 24hour cooling off period will be dealt with as per the conditions of section 1. 

Section 1.

Under the terms and conditions of this agreement, the student completing the in person training course is subject to a 24 hour cooling off period starting from the time of initial booking fee/deposit payment and may terminate the enrolment. This is not including any Online Training Courses available due to the course being an immediate enrolment and start. 

  • Khilo beauty bar will refund any fees paid within twenty-one (21) days of receiving written notification of cancellation in the cooling off period.
  • Cancellation of the training course enrolment outside the 24-hour cooling off period are as follows:
  • A non-refundable booking fee/deposit is paid at registration or upon enrolment.
  • The remaining balance is to be settled in full 7 days prior to the student’s first training/course day. Training course/s cancelled later than 6 days prior to the first day of the student’s training course will be charged 50% of the tuition fee so they will only get refunded 50% of the course total. Training courses cancelled 24-hours prior to the first day of the students' training course will be charged 100% of the tuition fee.
  • Once training course has commenced, you are committed to the full paid amount of the tuition fee in full, even if deciding to not continue or complete the training course, for various reasons.

Termination by Khilo Beauty Bar
Khilo BeautyBar reserves the right to terminate this enrolment agreement under the following conditions: 

  •  Failure to abide by any of the criteria listed in the regulations and policy or upon Action upon a complaint by either Khilo BeautyBar employees or educators.  
  • Khilo BeautyBar reserves the right to cancel an enrolment or cancel training if the educator deems the situation as unsafe, threatening and poses a risk to the educator and students health, safety and well being. 
  • Khilo Beauty Bar reserves the right to cancel an enrolment at its discretion.​

COVID-19 Sick Notice / Snap Lockdown conditions

If a student is not feeling well, or is sick prior / during the training course, the student is required to notify the educator immediately. 

If due to the circumstances we are unable to continue operating as per normal we will reschedule students enrolment dates; Those that are unable to reschedule will still receive their kit and credit towards future services and/or converted to an online training and be given a minimum of one online support call with an educator. 

If the students' training dates are affected by a snap lockdown or are unable to make the training dates due to COVID-19, we will do our best to reschedule your training dates.  If we are unable to meet a date to reschedule your training dates, you will be enrolled in our Online Training.

Force Majeure Policy

In the event that Khilo BeautyBar cannot contract with you as scheduled hereunder because it becomes impracticable as a result of an Act of God, accident, fire, incapacity, labor controversy, riot, war, civil commotion, act of government, terrorism or other cause outside the control of Khilo BeautyBar, We shall have the right in its sole discretion to RESCHEDULE WITH YOU AS SOON AS REASONABLY PRACTICAL after the end of such force majeure. Khilo BeautyBar shall reschedule the training hereunder as soon as reasonably practicable following the date of such occurrence. In the event Khilo BeautyBar is prevented from performing obligations hereunder as a result of any contingency which is beyond the control of such party , Khilo BeautyBar reserves the right to reschedule training. In the event that Khilo BeautyBar training cannot be conducted because of a lack of minimum student attendance, Khilo BeautyBar reserves the right to reschedule the training.

Training course Payments 

 

  • If purchased via Credit Card, PayPal, BNPL options such as, but not limited to “AfterPay, ZipPay, ZipMoney, Humm, Splitit, Payright etc”, payments made are non-refundable as it is an immediate enrolment and instant access to the course. 
  • If purchased via other payment arrangements such as split payments via Stripe, payments are to be made on time or will incur a $10.00 late fee. Month to Month Instalments via Online Training Course are to be paid in full prior to receiving a certificate of completion and graduating the course. 
  • If the payment is declined 3 times, enrollment is then cancelled.
  • All Buy Now Pay Later options: are held by a third party, all enquiries and applications go through these third parties. Khilo BeautyBar is not accountable or liable for any issues relating to these options.
  • Enrollment Deposits is also known as a Booking Fee and is a part payment of the full amount of the tuition fee. The Booking Fee is to confirm the date/time of the student’s training position in the course. This fee also covers the costs of the Kit, Training Supplies and preparation prior to the student’s training course.This is non refundable. 

Other general release of  important policy information and agreements

Enrolment and registration demonstrates you are in agreement with the terms and conditions of the training policy as outlined below.

  • All invoices created have a 48-hour period to be settled until the invoice is cancelled. Once cancelled, the training dates given will then become available to other potential students.
  • There is a no guest allowed policy in all training courses.
  • Age Requirement: A strict minimum age restriction of 16 years old for students.
  • Khilo BeautyBar educator/s reserve the right to cancel and reschedule training dates if the student or educator is unwell or ill.  A 24-hour notice is required to notify Khilo BeautyBar, this policy is strict and may result in you not getting a rescheduled date. Proof of illness may be required to present as evidence of inability to participate. 
  • When students are booking clients/models for practical exams, Khilo BeautyBar reserves the right to refuse entry to any persons that arrive on the premises unwell, intoxicated, disorientated or under the influence of substances of any kind. All models for students under the supervision of Khilo BeautyBar must arrive on time and confirm that trainees may take up to 2.5hrs or longer and are required to not rush the student. All models must sign consent forms for liability and insurance reasons and agree to photos being taken for training purposes. All models confirm that the retention of lash extensions may not last as long due to trainee practice, Khilo BeautyBar is released from all liability . 
  • If any student or person (current or past) defames Khilo BeautyBar, whether it be libel or slander, Khilo BeautyBar have the rights to strip all certification and merits and also have the rights to remove all obligations, including but not limited to, Legal or contractual, with the student or person. 

AGREEMENT 

As a condition of enrolment, I agree to be bound by Khilo BeautyBar’s regulations and policies. I agree that Khilo Beauty Bar or any successors, assigns and parties related in any way to will not be responsible for any claim for personal injury, loss or damage whatsoever which may occur as a result of any act or an omission of Khilo BeautyBar and, or my attendance at any premises.

The Information Collected: All information collected will not be disclosed in any way and is strictly for booking use. Any credit card information collected will also not be disclosed with any third party other than the third parties involved with our business such as: website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. 

We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety.

However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes via email or on our page. This policy was last modified on 7th November 2021.
