I've done it quite different from other educators because I really want my students to become confident in their skills before they get to their mannequin so I spend alot more time in marking assessments and making assessments where It’s going to get my students to understand.

So I like marking them on how to hold their tweezers, how they are picking up fans, how they are picking up classics, how they dip in the glue and making sure its not too much glue so that once again by the time they get to the mannequin they are already confident. Other educators will make you go straight onto the mannequin. But I feel as thought I prefer to spend extra time on marking and giving feedback.

Purely because I want my students to be confident when you move on to that and you can go okay well she’s marked them she’s given me feedback so I know I am doing it perfect.

I also get you to, its called burping glue. It means it helps your adhesive keeps fresh for longer because thats the kind of stuff that I dont want you buying new glue in a few weeks because you dont know how to care for it properly. So I have gone really into depth in a lot of things like that because I want the best for my students.

So as you can tell, there’s lots of thing working up to it so that you feel very confident with your techniques prior. I have great feedback already from all of my students which is amazing. Everyone thinks thats its really in-depth. There's alot of basic courses out there and I really didn’t want my course to be one of them. I wanted it to be really in-depth.
